I am a Graduate of the Birmingham School of Music

(now Birmingham Conservatoire) where I studied

piano with the Hungarian pianist Joseph

Weingarten, himself a student of Dohnányi, Bartók

and Kodály.

My qualifications are ABSM (Piano Teaching

Diploma), GBSM (Graduate Diploma with

Specialism in Teaching Studies) and PGCE (Post

Graduate Certificate in Education).

At the age of 18 I won the The Robert William and

Florence Amy Brant Piano Competition.

I have over 30 years teaching experience.

I currently have sessions available for piano lessons

and teach all ages and abilities from beginners

to diploma level.

I am fully D.B.S. checked.
